Creative Writing: Imagery

I love to go to the beach when I feel lonely. The beach is alive with the dancing of the trees and the sound of the waters as they roll against the sand. The radiance of the setting sun gives me a splendid comfort. The birds flying through the horizon are chirping as if they like to greet me. Children like to swim as if they were like dolphins. The grown-ups love to play beachball at the edge of the water. The vivacious beach gives me a remedy for my loneliness. I like to go to the beach as much as I want to.

Literature can be seen in our religious practices like the bible, prayers, and even the holy mass is a literature. One cannot deny the fact that we are with literature from our birth to our death.       We now understand that literature is everywhere. But there is a problem with literature. According to Mo Yan, one of the biggest problems in literature i...

Visita Iglesia 2017

Image
Last March 18, 2017 we went on a pilgrimage at the provinces of Tarlac and Pampanga. The pilgrimage was organized by our fellow bro., Cip Guarin. The pilgrimage started at 4:30 am. The first church we reached was the San Rafael Archangel parish. For our first stop in the pilgrimage, a mass was celebrated in the church, presided by our assistant priest Fr. Roy Borrega. After the mass, we prayed the first two stations of the cross. The Stations of the Cross is composed of 14 stations and were divided into the seven pilgrim churches. This is also called as “Visita Iglesia”. The second pilgrim church in the list was the Our Lady of Grace parish church at Mabalacat, Pampanga. The church is big and has a beautiful altar and interior. The next church is the Our Lady of Sorrows parish church. It is situated along the national road. The parish is not quite  small but its interior makes it a beautiful church. The fourth church on the list is the Sto. Cristo parish church. The chu...
